Real estate agents should create an advertising and marketing campaign designed to achieve the highest possible price for the seller. This can involve advertising through signboards, local newspapers, property websites, or dedicated property magazines.

The agent has to itemise these costs – which is part of the Appointment of Real Estate Agent (Sales and Purchases) PAMD Form 22a is signed by the seller - and both parties have to sign the Advertising Schedule agreeing to the advertising and marketing items and their costs.

A coordinated advertising and marketing campaign is essential if you decide to auction your property - the more people who are aware of the auction date, the higher the turnout and, consequently, the better the price.
