We make the accreditation process easy so you can make the most of your membership immediately.

REIQ accredited agency status is provided on an annual basis.

Organisations that are not real estate agencies, but are associated with the real estate industry may apply to become subscribers of the REIQ.

What you need to do

Membership is granted to agencies that meet the following criteria:

The responsible officer and licensee in charge must complete an initial Continuing Professional Development (CPD) module within 30 days of joining and annually thereafter
The agency must hold professional indemnity insurance for at least $1 million
The agency must hold a current Real Estate Agent Licence

Additional licensing conditions apply for corporations. Please contact our membership department for further information

What we need from you

Membership fees are payable every six months – until 30 June or 31 December each year
Six monthly membership is $425 inc GST
As not all members will join at the same time, the initial joining fee is provided on a pro-rata basis:

If joining in:

* price includes the fee for the next six month period

Current REIQ accredited agencies which operate separate businesses owned by the same corporation are obliged to nominate those offices as accredited agency branch offices
Branch offices must meet the REIQ membership requirements stated above
Branch office membership is free and offices receive the same benefits
