| Commentary | The suburb of Archerfield is 13km south of the Brisbane CBD along Ipswich Road. Archerfield Airport, a minor Brisbane airport used mainly for light commercial and passenger aircraft, takes up most of the suburb. The suburb also has a commercial precinct set up to support the airport facility. The Archerfield International Speedway is another popular attraction. Most of the retail and commercial facilities for local residents are found in the neighbouring suburb of Acacia Ridge. Educational institutions are also located at Acacia Ridge, including Acacia Ridge Primary School, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Primary, Watson Road Primary and the Aboriginal and Islander Independent Community School.
